About Robert Davis, CPA

Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio I spent 6 years in the US Navy before attending college at NC State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Following graduation, I worked for 12 years in telecommunications with GTE during which time I received my MBA at UNC Chapel Hill.

I left GTE to work for the PGA Tour as a Marketing Director and became Tournament Director for the BUY.com Carolina Classic. I then worked for a short time as Vice President Development for the American Heart Association before changing careers to accounting. I worked as a tax accountant for a few local CPA firms for 12 years before deciding to branch out on my own in 2012 when I merged 3 small CPA practices into my own firm. I have called Raleigh home since 1982 where my wife and I have raised 3 wonderful children. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, working out at the gym and playing golf.
